Canal Days!

It's time for another of our favorite festivals.  Canal Days!

The best part of Canal Days is taking the boat ride on the Canal.  Mom and Me are ready for it.

Look!  This year I can see over the edge completely.

It's also a beautiful day for a ride on the canal.  Not to hot or cold. And nice and sunny.

As usual we get our frosty beverages on the boat.

And enjoy them on our nice ride.

I event got a second lemonade on it.  I was thirsty.

Just look how close the bridge comes to us.  Really cool!

I do always love a good boat ride.

Next up... Tossing some softballs to dunk some people!

I need to work on my aim, took almost all the balls to hit the target.  But I did hit it!

With one ball to spare.  I didn't get a second dunk, but hey, it was for a good cause.

I got to play on some of the other tables, like this one where I tried to drop the ball into the scoring slots...

And the other table, where you have to guide the ball from the top to the bottom to score.  This one was hard!

Mom, Dad, and I put together the big kerplunk game, and then played it.

Then Dad and I played a bit with the cornhole set.

I finished off by shooting some arrows.  All in all a fun day!

I started this game off at first base (1B!).  My favorite spot on the field.

I know how to rock it well!

Red Wings Game with My Buddy H

It's time for what has become an annual tradition.  Going to the Red Wings game for Memorial Day, with my buddy H.

It's always a fun time to head to the game.

All of us kids, enjoy it.  And check out this cool statue!

I'm ready for the game!  I've got my mitt.  Let's do this!

I've also got a blue tongue from a blue raspberry coolatta on the way in/

The two of us (me and my buddy H) are a bit goofy.

But we always have a fun time!

So let's go team!

Planting Potatoes with Mom

Today I am helping Mom plant the potatoes.

After we put them into the ground, we need to get them covered up.  So we use the grass from the green space which was just cut recently.

We're helping to keep the grass grow... And getting what we need for our purposes.  A win win!

This way the potatoes are protected, and we'll then have them in the future!

Last Day of Temple

On the last day we got to go up, and some of us got to talk about what we like most.  This year I was just up there (vs. last year where I said something).

Memorial Day Parade

I walked in the Memorial Day parade with the RHAA (baseball). I had a lot of fun handing out candy to kids on the sidelines.

I made sure to save some, so I could catch all the kids.
