Adirondack Vacation - Day 4 - Stop 3a - Raquette River Fishing

 

Now this spot, has some potential.

Mom has gotten ready to go into the water.

While this spot is shady, the tree is in the way of a good cast.

Now having traded in my outfit for a swimsuit, I can also head into the water to get a better angle on my fishing expedition.

Duck and cover Mom, I'm casting near you.

Think we'll get any bites?

I've got my game face on for this set.

This rock here makes a great perch to see out into the water, and get a good cast.

I caught something here, but it got away.

Hey Dad, enjoying the shore?

And here's another long cast down the river.

Dad says I'm the spitting image of Tom Sawyer here. Never read it.

All I know is this rock provides good support, to allow me to fish.

Mom and Me, in the river, fishing, and relaxing.

It's just a lazy hazy day, with my feet in the river, and my rod trying to catch a fish.

I'd say this is the life.

Even Mom is ready to get into the action, of course I'll try to catch her hair if she gets too close.

Okay Mom, I think we need to shift spots.  I've got a great idea!

Adirondack Vacation - Day 4 - Stop 2 - Buttermilk Falls

 

It's time to go fishing Mom, I've got my stuff.

First stop, Buttermilk Falls, perhaps there will be a place to fish here.

This is a beautiful spot, although I'm not sure the fish will come just above the falls.

However, it does make a nice photo spot.

Well Dad, let's move and try to find a good spot to fish.

Adirondack Vacation - Day 4 - Stop 1 - Around Tupper Lake

 

To start off the day, we looked for a couple geocaches, there were just outside of Tupper Lake.

And we did manage to find it.

Adirondack Vacation - Day 3 - Stop 4 - Billiards

 

At pub, we went to dinner out, I decided to play Dad in some billiards.

The humidity made it so that I had an advantage on Dad.

Which made this a quite a fun game for me.

It was close, but I knew I was going to win.

This was a fun day.  We all enjoyed ourselves.

Adirondack Vacation - Day 3 - Stop 3 - Craig Woods Golf, Tupper Lake Golf Club

 

Now on to our favorite golf course up here, Craig Woods.

It has great tee boxes, greens, and views.

Mom played the holes she wanted to play, Dad and I played all of the front 9.

Mom and Dad went a bit matchy matchy.  I did some thing different.

I mean look at the view here, you're teeing off from the height, with mountains all around.

It is stunning right Dad?

And long fairways to play on.

Then we headed back to Tupper Laker Golf Club, to play the back 9 there.

Adirondack Vacation - Day 3 - Stop 1-2 - Mini Golf, Van Hoevenberg

 

Since our golf tee time, was a few hours from now, we went mini-golfing first.

We were all dressed properly for golf, just the other type.

It's Mom's Birthday, Happy Birthday Mom!

This was a large and cool mini-golf course.

With some challenging holes on it.

It even had elevation!

 Then we stopped by the Olympic bobsled track, to look around.

Adirondack Vacation - Day 2 - Stop 4 - Dinner, Mini Golf, Firework, Firepit

 

After all that hiking, we showered, changed, and went out to dinner.

Dad said the drinks were really good there.

And the ambiance was to die for.

Since we still had time before the fireworks, we went mini-golfing.

As we waited for the fireworks, Dad and I took some screen time.

Mom and Me did some line dancing to the music that they played for the pregame.

The fireworks in Tupper Lake were great!

Then we stopped by the firepit at our hotel to end the evening.
