Adirondack Vacation - Day 4 - Stop 3b - Raquette River Fishing/Swimming

Let's swim out to that rock in the middle of the river, and fish from there!

I'm almost to the rock, and I've got my fishing pole with me.

I've made it! This rock has a long outcropping under the water.

Time to get some fishing on!

Look at me Dad!

I am king of this rock!

And the view here is magnificent

Come one out Mom, there is plenty of room on this rock.

And I'm sure the fishing out here will be great.

Either way, we'll have some fun out in the river, on a rock.

And a big thumbs up from Mom. We're having a blast.

Casting off for some fish, Mom and me, having fun.

As you can see, we are a ways out from the shore.

I mean, it's a good swim from the shore out to the rock we are on.

But the weather is great, the river is comfortable, and the day is just beautiful.

Look at me, rock surfing in the river.

I feel like I can almost walk on water.

Although it's really just a rock under the water.

So what do you think Dad, fun day?

Back to using my fishing pole, thanks for holding it Mom.

And just look at this river, I think I'll swim out to a further rock.

You hold down that rock, with the fishing pole Mom, I'm going far.

I'm standing on a rock, out in the middle of the river, but I know there is more to see.

Okay, I think I've made it to the far rock, this one is a lot trickier to get onto.

Okay, maybe I need to swim back a bit.

Just a head above the water, swimming around.

Okay Mom, I've made it back, your turn, and bring the rod with you.

Time to just relax, with a rock pillow, in the water.

I'd say this is the life for me, relaxing in the water.

Dad, laughing at me and Mom out in the water.

Okay Mom, let's head to the shore, it's been a blast in the river.

I had a lot of fun, even if I didn't catch any fish.  The swimming was a joy.

Okay, that is enough nature for one day, let's blow this river.
