Gingerbread Houses at Eastman House - December

 

Time for the yearly tradition of seeing the gingerbread houses at Eastman House

As always, we need some pictures with the elephant head

So we've got to figure out a few more gingerbread houses still

Hey, we got a full picture of all of us!

Now it's me and Dad, okay Dad, a few of these gingerbread houses are tough to figure out

The game room is always cool.  Lots of items I'd like to have in it

Now Dad always want the library, got to agree it's just awesome!

Once more up the steps, to Step 13, almost to the landing!

It's that time of the year.  Time for the K Kids Couch Picture!

We seem to have a whole, one of us is missing....

 So we found a way to include him, via a picture!

We've now added in Grammie!

Pumpkin Smashing!

 

It is time for the annual tradition

The smashing of the pumpkins!

The squirrel's love us!

It's all in how you wield the hammer!

It's just a flick of the wrist...

And *splotch* goes a pumpkin

Make sure to use your arms and back appropriately

And some times you just need to bring it from the side

***GLARE***

Let's smash this one!

Time to bring the Pick-Axe!

 Again, it's all in using the proper technique

Bring it properly over the shoulder...

To inflict the most harm to the pumpkin

* GEEERRRR**

Back to the trusty sledge hammer

This on the fresh, unopened pumpkins!

*** Crunch ***

Let's smash that again!

Got a great crack through this guy!

It's in pieces now!!!

Time for the smaller, "throwing" hammer

Let's see how the fresh pumpkin handles the Pick-Axe!

Well it took the hit, and the Axe is stuck.  This will take a second to disengage it.

Practicing a golf swing (well kinda, more like a hockey swipe)
