Penitentiary Glen - Candy Land

So for fun we stopped at Penitentiary Glen (a wild animal help center) where they have a full size Candyland board game.  First we looked at some of the taxidermied animals inside.

Then headed outside to see some live ones.

Next to warm up we had some tea.

We'll me and Dad did.  I had mint tea, Dad has some black tea.

Then it was on to the game of Candyland.

Dad has shuffled the cards... and we did the board in THREE CARDS!  First card was the first square, the second card took us all the way through the board to the acorn right near the end, and the third and final card was the final square... I don't think you could have done it any faster...

That was funny Dad... we should go through it until we use up all our cards.

So we did that... stopping to take some pictures on the way.

Like the Honey Tree here.

Which Dad joined me in front of...

Or the nut shop, that Mom wanted a picture with me at.

So here is the stack of cards we had, in front of the grape vine.

And the bridge that gave you a short cut.

Afterwards we played around in some of the other areas.

Then we headed outside, and got a family picture.

And one with Grammie.  Who had a fun time with us.

Thanksgiving!

So for Thanksgiving Day, we went to my Uncle J's house..  where I got to play with my cousins' C and N.

We built an awesome car track, that only took us a bit to get working.

We designed some entertainment for everyone, and put on a multi-act show.

We danced and acted to the musical numbers we played.

Swinging and dancing with cool hats and such.

Everyone enjoyed them.

It was also cousin's N's birthday.  So she got cake.

At the Playground

I did it Mom.. I swung across the bars from one end to the other!

DB Menorah

At DB I helped to make a Menorah.  It's done out of pool noodles and such... Now I just need to make one like this at home!

A Full Couch

This is a full couch... we've got me, Booka, Boppa, and Marshmellow.

GEH with Dad

It's time to find the gingerbread houses that match the description on the scavenger hunt sheet.

We did find an awesome George Eastman House Gingerbread house...

And I did give the staircase walk two thumbs up :)

And my favorite thing at GEH - the gelato!

Dad and I split it... it was delicious!

MOP - Galaxy Weekend - Playing

So even though its Galaxy Weekend at MOP... I still need to get some playing on...

Such as a drive in the car race..

Which I always try to win in!

My climbing skills on the wall are getting better as well.

I have been multiplied by the big kaleidoscope

Even Dad had fun playing - such as when he got to ride the speeder bike.

Mom was her usual self :)  Wanting a hug and such.

I waited for the train so I could be in front... Much more fun items to play with in the engine area.

My shots were on target.. I took out those Tie Fighter pilots.

All that work at home with the Nerf weapons pays offs!

Dad and I launched the ball from the toy solder's bazooka , and hit the target!

It took us a bit.. but we finally got the timing down.

I'm next to push the button to lift a bowling ball onto the track

Ready to grab a video of it Dad?

Okay here goes!

The interactive screens were cool as well.  You could draw on them, and pick up objects.

Dad and I having a sit down while playing with some dominoes.

I always have to defeat the Death Star....

Especially on Galaxy weekend.

Then I gave Mom and Dad a break, and played with some solders and such.

We're defending the bridge from intruders!

Dad and I took a ride down the starry elevator.

And we went and got ice cream and a milk shake.  Mom and I were a bit goofy.

Afterwards we headed to bear country, where I worked the farm stand.

I payed for the items I got... and then sold them for a profit... I even sold bricks.

I got my dollar to do the final part of any trip at MOP....

A ride on the carousel...

When I was a trying to stick my hand up the horse's.... well you know :)
