Bar Mitzvah - Sunday Brunch

 

Okay I'm done with people.  Just need to make it through brunch.  Mom is trying to get me to pay attention to something else, but I'm done with interactions :)

Dad agrees with my feelings.

Brunch of some lox and bagels always works though!

I've moved to the front door to "greet" guest who show up.

Bar Mitzvah - Party Setup

 

It's time for the party!  My theme was Casino Royale!

The party was over at the RIT Art Gallery, so lots of cool stuff around.

We had cards with a sticker of my cat on the box.  We had poker chips with a picture of my cat on one side, and Dad's cat on the other, contained in a D6 box.  We had the card center piece, and card branded containers filled with puff mints.

And now we wait for people to arrive!

It's the morning of my Bar Mitzvah!  I'm way way nervous.

But my suit looks good...

Okay let's get going early, so I can get my nerves calmed down, and get some more practicing in before it all starts, so I can rock it out!

Bar Mitzvah - Friday Night Dinner

 

Well we've got the RIT alumni house for Friday Night Dinner, and it seems like a great place!  Now to wait for my family to arrive, and to greet them all.

Bar Mitzvah - Walk Through

 

It is almost my Bar Mitzvah, so a few day before I get to do the walk through at the temple.

 We practice the Torah hand-off, and me holding it.

As well as the prayer that goes with this part.

With the relaxed Covid rules, I'm allowed to do the carry around the sanctuary, which I want to do!  So we practice that as well.

This should be a fun part!

We even had to spend some time to find the right passage set in the Torah, so we'd be all set for the Bar Mitzvah itself!  And I did practicing readings from it, to get use to how this one was written

Imagine RIT

 

Trying out a Cat Necromancer game.  It was okay, needs some work to fix some odd bugs.  Overall seemed like a good concept.

Off to some PC games, this one had some interesting items, the movement was way to sensitive.

I definitely love playing games, and critiquing them.

Now this game is enjoyable.  I like the story line, it does get a bit repetitive, but overall nice idea!

Dad wanted my picture with Spirit the Tiger, so we got it on the way out.

 We managed to find a fellow Clevelander in her 2nd year, at RIT studying packaging science, who was nice enough to take a group photo of us all!

Minigolf + Dinner

 

It was a great weather Friday, during school break week, so we went out to have some fun, such as Mini-golf!

We decided to play one handed, while holding our slushies!

Passover - Kinda Legal

 

Well I've had my Bar Mitzvah (Pictures to follow), I get to "enjoy" Passover.

Red Wings Game!

 

It's the glove horse at the Red Wings Game.  Opening Night!  We are back at baseball baby!

It was a beautiful night for baseball.  We had a fun time.  Food is still not bad, and the game is okay.

Booka!

 

Booka has made it to the house, after years of Covid.  She's up for my Bar Mitzvah!  So she is watching me game.
