Book Fair

Matthew McElligott, an author I enjoy (he wrote Backbeard the pirate) asked me to help him design the robot for the inscription he is making me.

I described how I wanted the head, body, arms, and legs.

And he drew it for me!  He's awesome!

London Ladd, the artist for the book "Under the Freedom Tree" had me do a sketch for him in his doodle book, while he sketched me in the inscription of the book to me.  I did my version of the robot that  Matthew McElligott drew for me in his book.

Pumpkin Smashing in November

Halloween is over... Time to smash up our pumpkins and feed them to the squirrels.

This year I'm going for a hatch and a sledgehammer.

That hatch is good for breaking these thick pumpkins up...

See you set your sights as to where you want to hit

Windup for the swing...

And cut out the nose of the pumpkin!

You keep this up until its been beaten up and ready to be smashed.

Then you break out the sledgehammer and proceed to smash it to pulp.

See on this one we've worked it over with the hatch.... and then worked on beating it with the sledge.

Dad is directing me as to where to hit it with the hatch for maximum effectiveness.

And then a windup with the sledge!

Halloween!

It's Marshmellow's first Halloween!  I hope he enjoys it.

I know I'm all ready to go Trick or Treating for candy.

My Best Bud H and his sister and Dad came to our neighborhood to join us.  It was a blast!

Halloween Party!

Dad and I are knights... Ready to defend the Princess.

Mom is our Dragon Princess..

I'm a Cubby!

For Halloween at DB (my after school place) Mom and Dad made me into a cubby.  I like to sit in the cubby there, so it turned out great!

Fun on a Fall Day

I am a knight, and this is my trusty Marshmellow steed.

Mom loved how the tree in the backyard looked, so she wanted some pictures with it.

I got one with Dad as well.

Yep a beautiful fall day!

How about some baseball?

Here's the windup ... and the pitch...

I'm going to strike Dad out!

Carving some Pumpkins

Time to carve the pumpkins for Halloween!

I'm getting better with the knife...

Watch how I stab this pumpkin....

Like the pumpkins that we did?  I think they came out cool!

We've got a Tie Fighter that Mom did.

Dad did the X-wing.

This was my pumpkin that I designed and cut out.

Mom made the cool bat over the city.

And I designed this cute cat, and Dad cut it out for me... I think it looks like Marshmellow, which was what I wanted.
