A Day a MOP with Dad

Dad and Me came to MOP to have a fun day.. One of my favorite places to go is Wegmans.

I always like to make sure to weight my Pumpkin before getting it.

I've got my self the fixings for a Thanksgiving feast.  Pumpkin, Corn, bread, OJ for a drink, and since there was no turkey I went with salmon.

We found a new exhibit.. Dinosaurs.  I think this T-Rex is a bit small.. although he does seem to be interested in me.

Check out this HUGE egg... I fit in the nest as well.

I barely fit in this spot under the slide...

Next up... some music on the Piano.

You know... if you're going to be in the older house, you should dress the part.  This vest is very stylish.

For a long train ride, we need plenty of food...

So I've setup a feast for us.

Dad has his cup of tea, he's all set :)

Everything was up and working on the big machine, and without too many people I got right in to raise the bowling ball.

Then I headed down to work on my shooting of the ball.

I got the timing of this all figured.

Break time!! You know what I need?

A milkshake!!!  Dad wanted one too.

I have a plan.... To make a big track....

Now if only I had a good ball... Maybe this one would work?

Well the experiment shows it isn't the best one to use.

I think this track looks great!  Good job between Dad and Me.

Time for my Star Wars game... I'm going to take out that Death Star!

I'm always up to charge up my muscles.

So I can lift the Turbonium Reactor.

Time for a game of Pinball at my favorite machine.... the KISS machine!  I really want one of these.

I've tested my memory... still sharp as ever.  I got the full time to look at the treasure.

Okay Dad... What's next?

How about a story?

I'll read it to you :)

It's a good spooky joke book.

Ah the Knight knockdown table.  Help me make a good structure Dad...

This is my favorite diorama of Star Wars here.  I love how it looks.

So I've decided to make a mixed up Mr. Potato Head.  He is part Storm Trooper and Part Vader.  I think it works.

Next up... doing some work on the Taxi Cab engine in Sesame Street.

They've fixed the car!  When I push on the break it does a screech followed by a crash!  That is awesome!

AHHHHHHHH It's going to crash....

***Blam***

So Dad... What would you like from the Cart today?  How about a Hamburger?

So, since there were very few people left at this time of day (almost 7pm, we got here a little afternoon), Dad and I decided to build a city.

Dad built most of the main structure, and I add in knights and horses.

It looks good Dad... I think we should expand it!

This is getting better.  The more structures and people the better :)

Well we've definitely expanded it.

Check it out!  We used EVERY PIECE!

Yep Dad.  We did good on this one.  Now lets make the buckets into tanks and try to defeat the city!

Pumpkin Smashing Time!

I am prepared to move these rotting pumpkins from the front to the back green space...

Because it is Pumpkin Smashing Time!

One of my favorite after Halloween traditions!

Well I'm almost to the back green space.  Need to take a quick break to rest up before I finish the move.

As Mom likes to say... Safety is important...  and we don't want any pumpkin guts getting into the eyes.

And here's a swing on a pumpkin with the big pick-axe...

Then a swing with a shovel...

I used the longer handled tools this year since the pumpkins had already rotted a lot, and the close in hammer and axe, would just squish it too quickly...

Where the shovel does a good job of slicing off a side piece..

Or smashing it to bits.

The pick-axe is good at breaking off pieces...

But it is a bit unwieldy for me.

The pumpkins are being smashed into little bits :)

The better to feed the squirrels...

This is some tiring working this year...

But I'm ripping and destroying these pumpkins in numerous ways.

Like applying a little torque with the pick-axe.

And then a fling to break it.

Just a couple more swings of the shovel and these pumpkins will be smashed to bits :)

There... That aught to do it.
