Lilac Festival

 

It's the Lilac Festival! They are in full bloom, and it was a beautiful (albeit slightly hot) day.

Dad loves himself some lilacs.  I love the first lemonade of the festival season.

Mom's got the roasted nuts, and the 2nd lemonade for us all.  And is enjoying the smell of the lilacs in bloom.

Sometimes, if you sneak up, you can scare the flowers :P.  Nah just kidding.

I think this Lilac is just beautiful.  And it seems like it's just coming out right behind me.

There are also some awesome trees in the park.  This one is huge!

 It's a great place to take a walk, see the sights of nature, and just enjoy the outdoors.

Me and mom, up on a slightly off beaten path.  Just stretching are legs, and enjoying the sights.

Okay I'm getting tired of all this walking, can we go get some fried dough now?
