Pumpkin Chunking

 

It is time for the yearly tradition to chunk some pumpkins!

I just love to take the hook and wack some pumpkins

You just bring the hook back....

And swing it into a pumpkin

I just loving crushing the pumpkins

Time for some pick-axe operations on the pumpkins

See this is how you properly make sure to poke out a pumpkin's side.

It does take a bit of preparation for the swing.

And then you sometimes just need to store your instrument of pumpkin destruction for later.

Now to fork it a bit to soften it up.

And back to the pick-axe!

And into the side it goes!

MO HA HA HA HA HA!

**WACK** **WACK** **WACK**

Time to fork it a bit more.  Makes it easier to take it out again

Time to bring out the sledge-hammer!
 

Then for some close up wracking, the small hammer!

I do so love the tradition of pumpkin chunking, great way to end the pumpkins and feed the squirrels.
