A Nuthouse Escape Room Attempt

 

Well, we tried, and failed, almost had it.

Golf and a Show

 

Can you believe it?  A beautiful day in February, warm enough to go golfing!

Yep, the world is coming to an end it seems, might as well have some fun...

Mom had a good walk, Dad and I had some fun golfing.

And then we headed off to our favorite restaurant, to get dinner prior to an RBTL Show.

My Birthday!

It's my Brithday!  Can you believe it's been 15 years of reading my blog?

I've got a few plans for the day....

Starting off with my birthday blueberry muffin breakfast!

 Time to blow out the first candle of the day!

And getting some comfy presents!

And now for a really nice dinner at a nice restaurant.

Ready to eat some delicious steaks Dad?

I've got my steak!  Time to eat it.

I do so love a rare Filet Mignon!

And now back home for the ending piece of carrot cake!

And of course, another candle to blow out.

The Rockwell Museum

 

The next day we headed over to the Rockwell Museum.

Really, what the heck is up with Modern Art?

Like every time I see it, I feel like I need to do this...

 I mean right Dad?  Remember that whole trip years ago?

Swimming and Eating and Drinking

 

The hotel we did the overnight at, had a great salt water heated pool!

So me and Mom had some fun in the pool.

Then off to dinner to get some Asian Fusion.

Followed by a night cap drink at the hotel bar. (well I had a Shirley Temple)

Corning Museum of Glass - Glass Blowing

 

It's time to make a glass object, of my own design and choices!

I get to work the blowing apparatus here...

While the studio person does the actual spinning and adjustments to the glass.

It's all about a controlled blow, that fills it with the proper amount of air, not to fast, not to slow.

 It's almost done, she's breaking it off the stick now!

This was so cool. She's adding the base now.

And the final reveal!  So cool!

 Mom and Dad also made there own pieces!

Corning Museum of Glass

 

For a "Day Trip" we headed down to Corning, to go to the Corning Museum of Glass.

Check this out, it's made of glass!

Not sure what you'd do with it, but eh, it's cool.

The food at it was good as well!
