Birthday Vacation - Part 3 - Kennedy Space Center - Part 2

Now that is one HUGE building.  The stars on the flag are 6 feet across!

While on our tour around the place we saw many gators... Which was cool.

We also got to see one of the launch platforms being worked on for the new Orion rocket

And we drove right by Space-X new area.  They had just launched a Dragon Rocket it from it for the first time, the day before we got here.

We then headed into the Saturn Rocket Building.  They have a full Saturn Rocket (it was the last one left over).  It was HUGE!

I mean look at those engines on the first stage....

The whole rocket stretched over the whole building in its parts really went a far way!

And there were lots of things to explore and look at.

Like walking on the red walkway that was used by the Apollo crew.

Or getting to see how tight the Apollo capsule really was.

It was a really cool building!
